Sprout is the landscape architecture practice of Gina Switala, based in Johannesburg. Gina previously provided landscape design and consultation services across a wide range of projects — from corporate and commercial landscaping to parks, playgrounds, and residential gardens — and now takes on select landscape design work alongside a technical role in Building Information Modelling (BIM).

This site continues as a space to share landscapes that inspire a love for nature and the outdoors, with a focus on indigenous planting and sustainable design. Landscape architecture creates spaces that should impact the user positively and create a sense of delight — and that's the spirit this site keeps alive, even in its quieter chapter.
