Design Process

Stage 1: Inception

A site visit needs to take place to identify your landscape requirements as well as get a clear understanding of the project brief. We will discuss the current landscape and the changes that could be made and will normally photograph the area and take measurements. Following the site visit a detailed quotation will be emailed to you and you can decide which of the services you would like to proceed with. A deposit is normally required to confirm acceptance of the quotation.

Stage 2: Concept 

Sprout creates a customized plan and landscape proposal incorporating the information given at the project brief. We then arrange to meet again to discuss the landscape concept proposal which includes various images to give you an idea of the proposed design.

Stage 3: Design Development

Client feedback determines the revisions required which are then included and a detailed design is formulated. A cost estimate can be generated to investigate financial viability. Moving from design to implementation can be discussed.

Stage 4 & 5: Construction 

Project moves from design phase to implementation phase. The landscape contractor is appointed by the client directly and Sprout Landscapes can manage the installation of the project through site visits and project feedback.

* R500 fee applies to Johannesburg area. Travel charges will be added for site visits outside of Johannesburg.
